THE STAGE

In 2024, American Eagle LATAM launched a joint collection with Colombian artist Manuel Turizo — a collaboration born not just from shared aesthetics, but from shared language. Both the brand and the artist speak to a generation navigating identity, emotion, and image in real time. This series of photographs exists within that intersection.

We brought this collection to the dunes of Chachalacas, Veracruz — not for spectacle, but for resonance. This place, with its salt-heavy air and windswept silence, became the stage where denim, music, and movement could meet in something deeper. A place where time feels suspended, yet every grain of sand is in motion. Just like the people this collection was made for.

Every lift of wind, every fold against the sand, was a reminder that clothes carry memory.

Garments in motion

We never approached these garments as static objects. From the start, they were treated as extensions of the people who wear them — not just in shape or fit, but in temperament. They stretch, collapse, and resist just like we do.

The individuals behind this collection — the people it was made for, and the team that brought it to life — aren’t interested in posing. They’re moving, shifting, building. That energy became our brief. Rather than styling looks, we listened to how each piece wanted to fall, rise, or wrap itself into the landscape. The results feel both accidental and precise — like the way real life looks when you pay close attention.
