Hi, I’m Cosimo Salvati — an Italian photographer based between Mexico City and Rome. I specialize in advertising still life, fashion, lifestyle, and travel photography, with a strong focus on visual storytelling for brands in both editorial and commercial contexts. My background in Art Direction from the European Institute of Design shaped my instinct for composition, lighting, and the emotional undercurrent of images — skills I now bring into every shoot I lead.
Over the years, I’ve developed campaigns and visual content for clients including American Eagle, GQ Latin America, Lucas, Tecate Light, ExxonMobil, Bic, Tequila Patrón and more. Whether I’m working in studio with carefully controlled lighting or on location under natural elements, I’m driven by clarity of concept and an honest, tactile approach to image-making.
My process is hands-on and collaborative, often working closely with production houses, agencies, and brands to shape not just a photograph, but an atmosphere — a piece of visual language that fits seamlessly into a broader narrative. I enjoy the precision of still life as much as the unpredictability of travel work, and I thrive in environments that demand both structure and intuition.
In addition to commercial work, I continue to explore personal projects that blur the line between documentary and art direction, often rooted in human stories and design aesthetics.
